Ohio Oncology Nurses at the Statehouse - May 13 and 14, 2025

Empowering Oncology Nurses to use their voices to pave the way for change! On May 13 and 14, Oncology Nurses from Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, and Cincinnati ONS chapters met for a 2-day Advocacy Conference in our state's capital city. Participants learned from representatives, lobbyists, and advocacy organizations how to share experiences and testimonies to advocate for necessary healthcare change. Each participant met with appointed representatives to exercise their advocacy skills to request support from their elected officials for current or upcoming bills impacting the Oncology healthcare space.
