2020 Call for Nominations Southern New Hampshire Oncology Nurses (SNHON)
is seeking nominations to fill board openings for 2021.
Below are descriptions of each of the open positions. If interested, please submit a nomination form by October 31, 2020 to SNHONLeadership@gmail.com.
Secretary
➢ Commitment is for a 2-year term
➢ Must attend 7 out of 10 Board of Directors meetings annually
➢ Record and disseminate meeting minutes to board members
➢ Draft and conduct chapter correspondence as needed
➢ Represent the general chapter membership on the Board of Directors
➢ Performs responsibilities designated by the Board of Directors under the
mentorship of the President
➢ Assist the Board of Directors with the following committees: Programs,
Nominations, Membership, Social Media, Scholarships, Fall Conference,
and Standing Rules
➢ Represent the Board of Directors at dinner programs sponsored by SNHON
➢ Assist with the Board of Directors to complete the Annual Report
➢ Assist with the Annual Fall Conference
➢ Perform such other duties as the President or the Board of Directors may
determine
Director-at-Large
➢ Commitment is for a 2-year term
➢ Must attend 7 out of 10 Board of Directors meetings annually
➢ Represent the general chapter membership on the Board of Directors
➢ Perform responsibilities designated by the Board of Directors (i.e. chair
committees)
➢ Maintains Chapter records associated with the office of Director-at-Large
according to procedures established by the national Oncology Nursing
Society
➢ Represent the Board of Directors at dinner programs sponsored by SNHON
➢ Assist with the Board of Directors to complete the Annual Report
➢ Assist with the Annual Fall Conference
➢ Perform such other duties as the President or the Board of Directors may
determine
