trusted resource for healthcare professionals, helping them better meet the needs of their patients.
It has been incredibly rewarding to continue contributing to this mission through my role on the

New Hampshire has always been home to me. I moved to the Lakes Region in 2004 and enjoy
spending as much time as possible at the lake with friends and family.

Anne Cogan MSN, RN, OCN, NPD-BC - Director-At-Large - Scholarships

I have been a nurse for over 20 years and am appreciative that I have been able to spend my career at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, and care for people in my community. As a nurse, I love being able to be present with patients as they face challenges and enjoy times of celebration. After several years as a Med-Surg nurse I became an oncology infusion and clinic nurse, and several years after that became a Clinical Educator. Supporting nurses to bring high quality, evidence-based and compassionate care to oncology patients is satisfying, as well as challenging with all the new developments in cancer care. Throughout my career I have been a member of ONS and valued the professional and educational offerings I had access to as a member. Since becoming a Director-at-Large of the SNHONS in 2024 I have enjoyed working with talented nurses who are dedicated to supporting oncology patients, families and nurses throughout southern New Hampshire. I look forward to  continuing  working for our oncology nurses, patients and families through the SNHONS.
