ONS is working with ASCO, UICC and local experts in Paraguay to develop locally applicable guidelines for breast and cervical cancer. This initiative is in support of UICC’s City Cancer Challenge.
We are looking for one or two oncology nurses with expertise in breast and/or cervical cancer, to provide a nursing perspective during a guideline development meeting that is planned for August 28-30 in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish
- Experience in guideline review/development preferred
- Expertise in breast and/or cervical cancer
- Willing to meet deadlines, and independently plan, prepare, evaluate and provide nursing perspective in guideline development process
- Must be adaptable and possess cultural humility
- Ability to travel for 5 days
- Must be an ONS member in good standing.
ONS and organizers will pay for economy airfare, hotel, food and beverage expenses and offer a modest honorarium. A visa is required for US citizens and can be obtained upon entry in Paraguay.
