ONS is collaborating with the Brazilian Society of Nurses in Oncology and Hematology (ABREFOH) on a cancer nursing conference, September 6-7 in Sao Paolo, Brazil. 700+ Brazilian nurses are expected to attend this meeting.
We are looking for an ONS member
- to prepare and present on antineoplastic extravasation and
- to provide evidence-based recommendations for optimal care during a Breast Cancer Ground Round discussion.
Requirements:
- Ability to present in Portuguese is a plus, but not a requirement
- Proven expertise in the listed topics
- Willing to meet deadlines, and independently plan, prepare, evaluate and provide nursing perspective in guideline development process
- Must be adaptable and possess cultural humility
- Ability to travel for 5 days
- Must be an ONS member in good standing.
ONS and organizers will pay for economy airfare, hotel, meals and offer a modest honorarium. No visa is required for US citizens traveling to Brazil. One other ONS speaker and two ONS staff will accompany you on this trip.
