  • Participate in a Research Study!

    You are invited to participate in an academic research study, “Nurses at the Polls: Investigation of Political Efficacy and Willingness to Vote,” by completing a survey created by the North Carolina Future of Nursing Action Coalition (NCFONAC) in partnership with East Carolina University College of Nursing and Duke University School of Nursing. This study is being conducted by Dr. Gina Woody and Dr. Donna Lake, faculty members at East Carolina University College of Nursing, Dr. AnnMarie Walton, faculty member at Duke University School of Nursing, and Dr. Catherine Sevier, state president of AARP North Carolina and co-lead for NCFONAC.

    Our study aims to assess the political efficacy of NC Nurses (RN & LPN) and their engagement in the civic behavior of voting. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your responses will be kept confidential, and no identifiable information will be shared. Your participation in the research is voluntary.     By proceeding with this survey, you are giving your consent to be involved in this study.
