Please join the Michigan Society of Hematology and Oncology's Advocacy Day on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. This is a valuable opportunity to bring your expertise to the Capitol, engage directly with lawmakers, and advocate for policies that impact cancer care, providers, and patients across Michigan.

    Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Morning: We will kick off the day at 9:00 am with a brief welcome announcement in the Mackinac Room. Afterwards, groups will split up for coordinated meetings with legislators and their staff. All meetings will take place in Downtown Lansing within walking distance of the Mackinac Room.

Lunch: Midday, we will reconvene for a YesRx lunch-and-learn, where lawmakers, legislative staff, and Advocacy Day participants will have a chance to learn more about Michigan’s cancer drug repository while enjoying lunch together. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Some meetings may continue during or after the lunch program.

Afternoon: Additional legislator meetings may take place before we conclude the day by 3:00 pm.
