OCN Certification Review Course NCPD Pilot Testers
ONS is completing a redesign of our OCN Certification Review Course Bundle. The first three of these new courses offer updated content and interactive learning experiences about treatment modalities, symptom management and oncologic emergencies.
ONS is seeking 20 nurses for each course (100 nurses in total) with at least 2 years of experience to pilot test one of the three courses. A pilot test is completed to calculate the amount of NCPD contact hours that will be offered for the course. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for nurses preparing to sit for their OCN certification exam who are not already OCN certified.
Pilot testers will have the chance to engage with the latest educational materials, interactive modules, and assessments specific to these critical areas of oncology nursing. Volunteers will be asked to complete the course content and knowledge checkpoints, then provide specific details on how long it took to complete the course and any feedback. We anticipate each course will take approximately 2-6 hours to complete, and participants will be given 2 weeks to complete the pilot test.
Those who successfully complete the course, the evaluation, and submit the pilot test feedback form will receive free NCPD contact hours based on the average course completion time. NCPD contact hour certificates will be provided following the official launch of the course (estimated March of 2026).
Join us in shaping the future of oncology nursing education and ensuring the highest standards of care for patients.
