ONS has redesigned the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course. The redesigned course offers new and updated content, interactive learning experiences related to antineoplastic medications and their administration, and care of the individuals receiving them. We are seeking nurses within the identified target audience to pilot test this redesigned course.
The pilot test is done to calculate the number of contact hours that will be awarded for the activity. Participants will take the full course as if it were the final product and submit a pilot test form with detailed notes on the amount of time it takes to complete each lesson. To successfully complete the course, learners must pass the post-test with a score of 80% or better (will have 2 attempts) and complete a course evaluation.
When the pilot test is complete, participants will receive the following:
· NCPD contact hours
· Certificate of added qualification
· ONS Provider Card
· Digital copy of the Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice, 2nd edition
Looking for:
Nurses who have administered antineoplastic drugs for over a year and plan to administer the drugs at least monthly.
Nurses who do not yet have their ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Cards for the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course
