Nurses Needed to Pilot Test the Radiation Oncology Certified Nurse (ROCN™) Prep Course

< return to list
Signup Deadline: 01-30-2026
Starts: 02-09-2026
Ends: 02-23-2026

Description:

ONS is seeking 9 nurses with at least 2 years of experience in radiation oncology to pilot test the newly designed course to determine the amount of NCPD that will be offered for the course. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for nurses preparing to sit for their ROCN certification exam.

Volunteers will be asked to complete the course content and knowledge checks, then provide specific details on how long it took to complete the course and any feedback. We anticipate the course will take approximately 6-12 hours to complete, and participants will be given 2 weeks to complete the pilot test.

Those who successfully complete the course, the evaluation, and submit the pilot test feedback form will receive free NCPD contact hours based on the average course completion time. NCPD contact hour certificates will be provided following the official launch of the course (estimated March 2026).

Join us in shaping the future of oncology nursing education and ensuring the highest standards of care for patients.
