Seeking Nurse for DPD/DPYD Advisory Panel and Resource Development

ONS is seeking an oncology nurse to serve as a liaison and advisor to the Advocates for Universal DPD/DPYD Testing (AUDT). In this role, the selected volunteer will provide nursing expertise to help inform and educate peers about the value of pre-screening for DPD/DPYD deficiency and support efforts related to early identification and toxicity management. Key Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly virtual meetings (held on Monday evenings from 7–8 pm EST)

• Participate in group email communications to stay informed and contribute feedback

• Collaborate on projects specifically aimed at oncology nurse audiences

• Provide input on education and outreach strategies related to DPD/DPYD testing

• Communicate with ONS and collaborate to determine appropriate actions, serving as a liaison between ONS and AUDT

Term:
1-year commitment, with the possibility for extension
