ONS is seeking dedicated volunteers to contribute to the update of clinical practice guidelines related to Cancer Treatment-related Skin Toxicity and Radiodermatitis.
This volunteer opportunity requires a commitment of approximately 5 hours per month over a 12-month term, with biweekly virtual meetings beginning in late July or mid-August. Volunteers will collaborate closely with expert methodologists from the Evidence Foundation to ensure a high-quality, evidence-based guideline development process using GRADE methodology.
For Radiodermatitis, we will address targeted questions related to the use of semipermeable dressings and barrier creams.
For Cancer Treatment-related Skin Toxicity, the update will emphasize novel agents, immunotherapy-related skin toxicities, and effective symptom management strategies.
In addition to contributing to the evidence review and development of updated recommendations, volunteers may have the opportunity to assist in disseminating the guideline updates to enhance their reach and clinical impact.
This is a unique opportunity to shape clinical practice, work alongside national experts, and support the ongoing advancement of oncology nursing care.
