The Oncology Nursing Foundation is recruiting volunteers to review the 2025 ONS Bridge™ Scholarship applications. In order to be eligible to review, you must have previously attended an ONS Bridge virtual conference in the past.
The Oncology Nursing Foundation’s ONS Bridge Scholarship, funded by the Oncology Nursing Foundation Endowment, supports registered nurses interested in improving cancer care by developing their personal knowledge as a result of attending the ONS Bridge virtual conference.
Recipients receive funding (up to $249) to cover the registration fee to attend the annual ONS Bridge virtual conference.
Below is the application timeline for the ONS Bridge Scholarship:
Application Opens – April 20, 2025
Applications Due – June 30, 2025
Volunteers are asked to apply by May 15, 2025. Eligible volunteers for this review will be notified by June 1, 2025.
TIME COMMITMENT:
The ONS Bridge Scholarship review period allows reviewers a little over two weeks to complete their assignments (final review scores will be due on July 18th).
Review Begins – Tuesday, July 1, 2025
Review Scores Due – Friday, July 18, 2025 (due by 11:59pm Eastern Time)
Each reviewer will be assigned 5-10 applications, which can take from 10-15 minutes each to complete. The overall time commitment anticipated for this review is approximately 3.50 hours.
