Nurses Needed to Contribute to the Creation of Radiation Oncology Nursing Resources
Radiation oncology nurses play a crucial role in our membership, and we are forming a group to assist in creating more resources and content tailored to this specialty. If you are a radiation oncology nurse and would like to contribute your expertise, we invite you to join us in this important initiative. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the future of our resources and ensuring they meet the needs of professionals in this field.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
- Nurses who are experienced in Radiation Oncology nursing.
- Areas of particular interest include:
- Site-specific side effect management
- Radiopharmaceuticals
- Brachytherapy
- Hypofractionation
- Radiation safety
- Onboarding and orientation to Radiation Oncology nursing
WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR
· Volunteers to virtually collaborate with ONS staff in the creation of various educational resource materials.
o Levels of development may vary. Some opportunities may be to serve as a content expert reviewer or to serve as the creator of specific content under the direction of ONS staff.
o Resource types may include: courses, huddle cards, podcast episodes, etc.
· Please indicate your years of experience and area of expertise within radiation oncology
· Commitment is intermittent and dependent on the resource type. Participation will include several virtual meetings as needed to plan and develop the resource.
