The Oncology Nursing Foundation invites volunteers to apply to serve on the ONF Industry Advisory Panel (ONF IAP).
The Oncology Nursing Foundation (ONF) is expanding its Industry Advisory Panel and seeking passionate, experienced professionals to join us in elevating the impact of oncology nursing. This panel serves a vital role in shaping ONF’s industry engagement strategy—strengthening relationships, broadening partnerships, and advising on collaborative opportunities that ultimately support oncology nurses and the patients they care for.
About the Panel:
ONF IAP Panel members will:
• Advise on industry trends, philanthropic priorities, and partnership strategies
• Help identify and cultivate innovative supporters across healthcare and adjacent sectors
• Strengthen the voice of oncology nursing within corporate communities and national dialogues
• Serve as ambassadors, sharing ONF’s mission and opportunities within their networks
• Provide guidance on strategies for industry alignment, sponsorship, and philanthropic engagement
• Offer insights into industry priorities and emerging challenges in oncology care
• Serve as a thought partner in growing ONF visibility and stakeholder value
Desired Representation
To ensure a rich and diverse advisory community that reflects the full landscape of oncology nursing support, we are seeking individuals who:
• Work within or closely alongside oncology-focused teams, products, or initiatives
• Demonstrate an existing partnership with ONS, ONCC, ONF, or a clear professional tie to oncology nurses and the advancement of cancer care
Ideal backgrounds may include:
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies
• Diagnostics, digital health, data/AI, and technology innovators
• Corporate philanthropy, grantmaking, or strategic community investment
• Professional associations, consulting firms, or payer/provider organizations
• Other fields committed to improving cancer care and nursing workforce sustainability
TIME COMMITMENT:
Volunteers are expected to commit to attending three (3) virtual meetings per year with intermittent engagement opportunities. Pre-read materials will be provided prior to each meeting. Estimated time commitment is 12 hours per year. Volunteers/Panel members will serve a two-year term, however, in the first year, some volunteers/Panel Members may be appointed to a one-year term to establish staggered rotation.

• Prior experience working in or supporting oncology is preferred but not required—shared commitment to advancing excellence in oncology nursing is essential
