Focus Groups: Exploring Interest in Symptom Assessment Algorithms

ONS is conducting a focus group to explore how we can best support institutions in delivering consistent, high-quality cancer-related symptom management through the use of Symptom Assessment Algorithms. We’re seeking input from nursing professionals who play a key role in oncology care and quality improvement.

By participating, you'll help shape future tools and resources that support oncology nurses and institutions nationwide.

We are currently recruiting participants in the following roles:

• Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs)

• Nurse Directors

• Nurse Managers

• Nurse Educators

• Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialists

• Oncology Quality and Patient Safety Nurses 

ONS membership is not required, both members and non-members are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Selected participants will join a focus group session in August 2025 to share insights, challenges, and perspectives.
