Multidisciplinary Extravasation Management Guideline Panel

ONS is seeking volunteers for membership on the multidisciplinary Extravasation Management Guideline Development Panel. The panel activities will be guided by a methodologist and responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to Guideline scope and clinical questions related to extravasation identification, management, and follow up.
• Review and appraisal of evidence and evidence profiles
• Collaborative formulation of recommendations using the Evidence-to-Decision framework
• Contribution to manuscript preparation and other dissemination activities

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of oncology experience including extravasation management
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice processes and research methodology
• Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician’s Assistants, and Clinical Pharmacists are eligible and encouraged to apply
• Excellent time management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines
• Availability for weekly to twice monthly meetings and timely response to interim email communication
• Ability to attend a 1 ½ day meeting in person at the ONSE office in Pittsburgh, PA to finalize recommendations
