2026 ONS Award Reviewers Needed!

Volunteers are needed to review and score nominations for the ONS Awards Program. Active ONS membership is required. Reviewers will be assigned to award categories that align with their professional expertise and will evaluate nominations using established criteria. A letter of participation is available upon request.

Responsibilities:

• Review and score 2-3 assigned award nominations based on established criteria
• Provide objective and constructive evaluations.
• Maintain confidentiality of all nomination materials and discussions.
• Disclose and avoid conflicts of interest.
• Complete reviews within designated timelines.

Qualifications: Qualifications vary by award category and may include expertise in research, publishing, nursing education, advanced clinical practice, leadership, management, advocacy, or other specialty areas. Reviewers will be matched with opportunities that align with their experience and credentials.

Time Commitment:

• Approximately 1–3 hours during the review period, depending on the number of applications assigned.
• Start Date: October 6th  
• End Date: November 6th
