Description:

The Oncology Nursing Society is strongly committed to evidence based practice. The Oncology Nursing Society and the Oncology Nursing Foundation must have core research priorities, the ONS Research Agenda, to fill research gaps inhibiting the delivery of quality care to patients and families with cancer, and to serve as a foundational document for funding initiatives and award decisions. We are embarking on a collaborative, transparent and developmental process to establish consensus regarding the research priorities for 2024- 2029.

We need your voice! If you are interested in applying to be a participant in the Oncology Nursing Society Research Agenda process, please apply.

The time commitment will be 2-3 hours of preparatory reading and an in person meeting on November 4-6th in Pittsburgh, PA. The meeting will begin with dinner on November 4th, 2023 and conclude by mid-afternoon on the 6th. Lodging and flights will be supported. Follow up meetings will be conducted electronically.

ONS members will be joined by patient, community, and cancer care advocates to ensure a process of establishing the ONS research priorities are open, collaborative with consideration of many voices.

If you are interested, please apply using the "Apply Today" button at the top of this page, and you will be notified if you are selected.
