The Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing (CJON) invites manuscript submissions for an upcoming special issue focusing on cellular therapies. We are seeking high-quality manuscripts by September 1, 2025, that explore innovative practices, research, and insights within this dynamic field. These can include original evidence-based, case-specific information or hospital wide initiatives regarding immune effector cellular therapies that include stem cell, CAR T cell, tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte, and gene therapies, as well as clinical research trials or initiatives aimed at advancing other immune effector cellular therapies that are not yet commercially approved.
Key topics of interest include the following:
- Quality and safety: approaches to enhancing patient safety and treatment outcomes in cell and gene therapy
- Patient experience: studies or case reports that focus on patient-centered care in cell therapy, including patient satisfaction and quality of life
- Cell therapy program development: strategies for establishing, managing, and optimizing cellular therapy programs within healthcare institutions
- Clinician experience: insights into the experiences and challenges faced by clinicians working in cellular therapies, including training, burnout, and professional development
