The Houston Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society has a commitment to promote formal investigative nursing projects that affect oncology nursing practice and improve care for those at risk for or experiencing cancer and their families. The chapter has appropriated $5000 in funding annually to sponsor one or more projects. Projects may be research, quality improvement, or evidence-based practice projects and must have
defined outcomes.
