  • Minneapolis, Minnesota, Why UMPhysicians? The RN - Infusion performs both independent nursing and delegated medical functions as member of the clinic care team. The independent nursing includes assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patient population(s) in the ambulatory care setting. The delegated medical functions include participation in and coordination of delegated patient care to other health care team members. The RN - Infusion is responsible for performing these functions and working in collaboration with providers and care team to perform these functions in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines. What you will do as an RN - Infusion : Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes Implements nursing interventions based on plan of care Evaluates care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomes Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patients Performs other duties as determined by manager and clinic needs What you will need: Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license Current national certification depending on area of specialty or the ability to obtain one within 18 months of start date or prorated for FTE appointment (if applicable for role). Maintain Oncology Nursing Society's ONS Provider Card or obtain within 30 days of start date (if applicable for role). Maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification Preferred: 2+ years of acute care nursing and/or infusion or ambulatory care nursing experience 2+ years of experience in administrating antineoplastic agents Due to differences in scope of care, practice, or service across settings, the specific experience required for this position may vary.   • Minneapolis, Minnesota, Job Description University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a board-eligible/board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their clinical practice at M Health Fairview Clinics -Oxboro and Wyoming locations, to provide subspecialty care for patients with dermatological conditions. Practice Details: Dermatology practice with a demonstrated need from an established referral base of M Health Fairview primary care and subspecialty physicians. Provide medical and surgical dermatology care to adult patients. Opportunities for cosmetic dermatology may also be available. The Dermatology team works collaboratively with a large network of both primary care and specialty physicians throughout the M Health Fairview organization, including partners at the University of Minnesota, which includes many subspecialists through an extensive outreach programs. These specialties include: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Family Practice, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Sports Medicine, Urology, Radiology, Neurology, ENT, Podiatry, Hematology/Oncology, and Ophthalmology. Location:  Gonda 10 East, Medical Oncology Cancer Treatment The primary role of the registered nurse (RN) in this position is administration of chemotherapeutic agents and patient education in the outpatient setting.   The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as a part of the responsibility of their role.  This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
