Program Overview:
Speaker: Gopal Gupta, MDGopal Gupta, MD, FACS is a Tenured Professor of Urology, Surgery and Radiology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and is on faculty of the Oncology Research Institute and the Graduate School at Loyola University, Chicago. Dr. Gupta also holds attending privileges at area hospitals including the Edward J. Hines VA Medical Center and the Loyola Gottlieb Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gupta earned his MD at the University of Illinois School of Medicine at Chicago. He completed his residency in General Surgery and Urologic Surgery at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD followed by a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health in Bethesda MD. He is a Clinical Trial Investigator with the National Cancer Institute, SWOG and the Society of Urologic Oncology Consortium. His professional memberships include the Society of Urologic Oncology, American Urological Association and ASCO.
