Amid all the hustle and bustle, your Southeast Minnesota Chapter ONS board have been busy making plans for the new year. We will be updating our local chapter handbook and strategic plan, using the national by laws and the new guidelines for reference. Educational Dinner Programs Watch for future chapter emails letting you know about all of the great opportunities to wine/dine and learn throughout the year. Our first dinner of 2020 will be on melanoma and renal carcinoma, set for January 14th, 2020 please visit our event website for all the details

Spring Learning Fair We are planning a morning filled with CEUs and socializing. Mark your calendars for March 14th, 2020

Self Care Sunday Events As healthcare providers, it is so important to take the time to care for yourself. I will be planning two self care events throughout the year in April and October focusing on activities to help promote relaxation and better manage stress. Our next business meeting will be held in conjunction with our Rolling on the River Certification Recognition event on Thursday June 18th 2020. I hope that all of you are able to join us on the river, it is a fun evening!

The 2020 ONS Congress will be April 29th-May 3rd 2020 in San Antonio, TX. I will be attending as the President of our chapter as well as several of the chapter board members. Please let me know if you are attending and want to connect during the conference!
