"Our first priority at Cancer Support Community North Texas is the health & well-being of our members, presenters, volunteers and staff. On March 13th, in response to growing concern regarding COVID-19, we temporarily suspended in-person activities."
All of our free programs and services are available on digital platforms.
Support Services – we provide support groups, networking groups and individual counseling through Zoom meetings. Our Master’s level, licensed mental health professionals facilitate each group and counseling session. Do you have questions about support groups or would you like to connect with our staff? Health & Wellness Workshops – we post exercise, yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi and meditation workshops and other health and wellness classes to our Facebook Page.
Educational Presentations – we post lectures and workshops on a variety of topics meant to be of interest to people with cancer and their family members on our Facebook page. We also have some in-person presentations archived on Facebook.
Resources and Referrals – our Cancer Resource Specialist assesses and refers survivors to appropriate resources and services in the community. Please call (214) 345-8428 for assistance. Free Membership – the services and programs we provide are completely free of charge to anyone who has been impacted by cancer. We are conducting New Member Meetings and Customized Membership Plans on an individual basis via phone or Zoom meetings.
