Thank you to everyone who came out last night! As promised, here's my announcement list from last night:
- Spring Fling: thank you to everyone who participated
- Next Meeting: Olive and June on June 11th. Topic: Libtayo indicated treatment of patients with metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) or locally advanced CSCC who are not candidates for curative surgery or curative radiation
- Lauren Groff our Fundraising Chair has moved to Dallas to attend NP school, needing new fundraising representative on the board (if interested feel free to reach out to CTONS email or Tanna Thomas for more information)
- Mary Peterson (Programs) and Stephanie Griffith(Treasurer) will be stepping down at the end of the year, will be needing new programs and treasurer representative for next year (if interested feel free to reach out to CTONS email or Tanna Thomas for more information)
- Chapter minutes from May 4th and Spring/Summer Newsletter should be out soon
- Next board meeting is on Monday August 26th and is open to all CTONS members (Central Market N. Lamar)
- Upcoming Events:
- Hospice Austin Volunteer Event at Christopher House DATE TBD
- Leadership Conference Pittsburg - Sara, Alyssa, and Tanna attending. Opening to all members and can apply for scholarship
- Typhoon Texas Family Fun Day in the Summer TBD
- December Holiday Party TBD possibly first weekend in December
