We have some exciting volunteer opportunities coming up and we need your help to make them a success. Please see the details below:
One Day Closer Event sponsored by the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center on April 20th from 10am-2pm at the U of M North Campus Research Complex on Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor
This is a day dedicated to showcasing our community how Rogel Cancer Center is getting us one day closer to a cancer cure. It is geared to high school age students to get them excited about science and learning more about cancer research. The goal is to inspire the next generation of scientists and clinicians to ensure a strong future in our fight against cancer.
There will be interactive activity booths, lab tours, and short research talks
How you can help:
Please get the word out about the event. The target audience is high school aged students and their families. We want to help get young people excited about cancer research, care, or prevention.
On the day of the event we also need members to help with registration, or running the younger kids activity booth.
