    Hello all,

    I'd like to get some feedback from our community members about topics that you are interested in learning about.  

    Maureen does a tremendous job in finding vendors to sponsor dinner events.  She is able to reach out to different industry representatives, but we need to hear from you.

    What is keeping you from coming out to enjoy a free meal at a great restaurant??

    I live in Lacey Township so many times it is the distance. Being older, harder to see at night. I am a breast oncology nurse navigator so more on breast, survivorship.

    Working in Neptune and living in Brick ,I  would attend more dinner conferences if they were closer to work/home.

    If anyone knows of venues close to OUMC that could accommodate a dinner meeting in a private room, please let me know. I don't know that area well and haven't found many nice restaurants in that area during my searches.

    In Point :Grazianos has a side room where they may do meetings. Simple Italian food BYOB

    I used to live in Point and LOVED Graziano's. I'll check it out.

    I didn't know that Waterman's changed hands! It has always been on my list. I'll change the name and put it closer to the top. They do have a room. We've been there several times before.

    Villa Amafi on Rt. 166 in Toms River. They do have a private room downstairs. Food is very good.

    Oncology nurses are encouraged to get more involved in ONS. We offer so many educational opportunities that are so interesting and beneficial. Not to mention amazing dining experiences and occasional free CEUs!

    We have been there before and it was very loud. They put us in the middle of the dining room but that was for board meetings. I can find out if they have a private room for a lecture.

    They do not have a private room.  I can attest to that. We had functions in the room where we had a board meeting.  We used to go there when I worked at OUMC for special occasions like holidays or parties.  And it was always noisy.

    I know we want to try and attract new members and newer nurses. I think finding the "new" and current restaurants and locations to have dinners would be more enticing. Maureen, I'd be happy to try and find some places and confirm they have separate dining rooms for our meetings.
