The Oncology Nursing Foundation is recruiting volunteers to review the 2025 Academic Scholarship applications. To be eligible to join the review, you must currently hold a BSN, MSN, DNP or PhD degree. Volunteers will be assigned to review applications within the degree level they hold.
The Academic Scholarship provides educational scholarships to registered nurses committed to oncology nursing and pursuing a BSN, MSN, DNP or PhD degree in nursing. The scholarship funding is awarded as follows:
- Bachelor’s scholarships are awarded at $3,000
- Master’s scholarships are awarded at $5,000
- Doctoral scholarships are awarded at $7,500
Applications for the 2025 Academic Scholarship are due by 11:59pm Eastern Time on February 1st, 2025.
Volunteers are asked to apply to participate in this review by November 15th, 2024.
Eligible volunteers for this review will be notified by November 30th, 2024.
The review will begin in February 2025.
TIME COMMITMENT:
The Academic Scholarship review period allows reviewers a little over three weeks to complete their assignments. Each reviewer will be assigned 15-20 applications, which can take from 15-20 minutes each to complete. The overall time commitment anticipated for this review is approximately 3.75 hours.
