The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) and the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) have contracted with ACT Education Corporation (ACT) to develop a Role Delineation Study (RDS) regarding the administration of antineoplastic therapies.
A diverse group of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) representing oncology and non-oncology nurses administering antineoplastic therapies in different areas of specialization and settings is needed to fulfill the Task Force volunteer opportunity.
Task Force Commitment
ONCC is seeking 12 – 14 Task Force members with a solid foundation in antineoplastic administration who will participate in three sets of meetings and may be required to complete one or more assignments between meetings.
- Task Force Meeting #1 – Series of four virtual sessions each scheduled for 2.5 hours. The first Task Force Meeting sessions will be conducted in March. Total Estimated Hours: 10
- Task Force Meeting #2 – Series of up to three- 2-hour virtual sessions. The second set of Task Force Meeting sessions will be conducted in March. Total Estimated Hours: 6
- Task Force meeting #3 – Series of up to three – 2-hour virtual sessions. The third set of Task Force Meeting sessions will be conducted in April. Total Estimated Hours: 6
(An additional 2 hours maybe needed outside of the task force meetings to review specific documentation related to the project).
