Apply for up to $500 in Nursing Education Funds!
The Red River Valley Chapter of Oncology Nursing Society is offering funding for members -- RN, LPN, nursing students, associate (non-nursing) members -- to cover costs of a workshop, seminar, or general expenses related to education or school. You may apply by submitting the easy application below. The funds will be distributed on a first come – first served basis. Applicants are limited to one request per year. The following criteria will be used to determine appropriate allocation of funding:
· Must be a current (and in good standing) member of RRV ONS (reminder full time students get free membership)
· Dedicated to improving Oncology Nursing
· Strive to enhance or advance professional knowledge
· Further Oncology Nursing Education/Certification

Examples and additional information requirements: If you are using the funds for a workshop, conference, or seminar – please include a copy of the registration form, and expected cost of transportation and lodging if applicable. If you are a student enrolled in a current nursing program, and applying for funds for tuition or general expenses – please include the name of the nursing program.
· If accepted you will agree to come to one of our general membership meetings to accept your awarded funds and explain what you hope to learn to enhance your oncology practice
· RRVONS enjoys recognizing our funding recipients through writes-ups in our newsletter or on our chapter face book page. By accepting funds you agree to allow us to do so.
