·      Description:  This intensive review course provides a content review of the material relevant to the test blueprint.  The course does NOT cover chemotherapy or side effects associated with chemotherapy.  Nurses planning on taking the OCN exam are highly encouraged to take the ONS Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Course if they have not already done so.

·      Location of Course:  The location of this course will be at the HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Brady Conference Center 9003 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.  Our campus is under construction and parking is tight, please allow extra time. This is a live program, with no virtual option. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.

·      Dates of Course:  This 2-day course is being held on Friday, April 25, 2025, and Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM each day.

·      Course materials: Handouts and slide presentations for each session will be provided to participants.  There is no specific textbook that is being used in conjunction with the course.  Course content is primarily from ONS reference books pertinent to the OCN exam.

·      Target Audience:  Oncology nurses who are preparing to take the OCN^® exam and/or oncology nurses who are interested in a comprehensive oncology nursing review course.  

·      Fees and Registration:  There is NO fee for the course.  The Phoenix ONS Chapter is sponsoring the course. However, you MUST register.  Please provide your name and email address to Brenda Keith at brendakeith5155@gmail.com.

·      Other Important Information:  This continuing nursing education activity has applied for 19.2 contact hours through the California Board of Registered nursing and is pending approval.
