We dedicate this week to the nurses in our community. In celebration of the incredible work nurses do daily, we would like to publicly recognize them. I will start with one of our board members:
Stephanie Dailey, DNP, RN
She serves on the PONS board as a director-at-large. She is a wife, mother, nurse, NP in oncology.
She got her DNP from ASU and is currently working at Arizona Oncology. If all of that doesn't keep her busy enough, she is a member of the Navy National Guard. She recently has been deployed to a hospital in Queens, NY. The hospital she has been assigned to has seen devastating consequences from COVID-19. Her account of the conditions and magnitude of the virus are heart breaking. WE THANK HER for serving our country!!
While she is deployed, she is still serving our local community and PONS board. She is helping plan events and providing support to our local PONS community. She exemplifies what being a nurse and an incredible person is about. Stephanie - you are our hero!
