Dear Phoenix ONS members,
We need your help!!! We are waiting for elections for 2021 board members until we have a candidate for president -elect.
So what is holding you back?
Time? - we hold a meeting every other month, we have a zoom account so if you can't make it, no problem. You have a group of people to help with activities, meetings, etc. The board members are amazing and really do everything!!!
Fear? - I knew one person when I joined the board, I have met so many people, networked and made amazing friendships. The president elect spends the 1st year shadowing the president. Then the outgoing president stays on to help you if you have questions. The national chapter is right there supporting you the whole way. You have all the resources you need.
Money? - The chapter will pay your membership AND we have several members of our board attend ONS conference every year. There is no out of pocket expense for you!

2 years ago, I just wanted to help. Now I have gained friends, colleagues and mentors. I am forever changed by the incredible board members, chapter members and patients that we serve daily. They exemplify resilience, strength and courage. Please consider being a part of this team and continuing the work of the oncology nurse!
