ONS will be hosting it's 4th Annual Capitol Hill Days this year on September 22-24 in Washington DC. During this event, over 100 ONS members representing every state will gather to make a difference in healthcare on Capitol Hill. If selected, you will receive advocacy training and have opportunity to meet with YOUR congressional representatives. During this 3 day event, nurses will be briefed by policy experts, government officials, nurse leaders, and the ONS advocacy and health policy team on the current political environment and topics such as palliative care, oral drug parity, and care planning. Hotel accommodations and food will be provided by ONS, and transportation by our local PACONS chapter. Continuing education credits are also available to attendees. This event is an exciting opportunity to learn about health policy, advocate for your community, and be part of change on a national level.
