2020 ONS Congress Scholarship
The Philadelphia Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (PACONS) is offering a competitive scholarship for PACONS members in good standing who are interested in learning more about oncology nursing at the Annual ONS Congress in San Antonio, TX from April 29-May 3, 2020. One scholarship will be awarded. The scholarship amount will pay up to $1000 in reimbursement towards registration and travel costs.
Fine print
*The award will be paid when original expense receipts (not reimbursed by another entity) are received.
*Applications must be received by February 28th to Laura Todaro, PACONS President: Laura.Todaro@pennmedicine.upenn.edu.
*The recipient of the scholarship will be asked to present a 10-15 minute summary of the Congress experience to the chapter in the May or June PACONS chapter meeting AND at his or her primary workplace.
*The recipient of the scholarship must receive support to attend Congress from his or her direct supervisor as indicated in a letter of recommendation (limit of 350 words, attach below).
