GENESEE VALLEY ONCOLOGY NURSING SOCIETY IS SEEKING NOMINATIONS
FOR ANNUAL “NURSE OF DISTINCTION" AWARD
The annual “Nurse of Distinction" Award recognizes a nurse who has been chosen by fellow GVONS members and colleagues as exemplifying excellence in oncology nursing. The award is presented each year at our annual dinner.
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates for the Annual “Nurse of Distinction Award” must be current members of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Genesee Valley Oncology Nursing Society (GVONS) for at least 2 years. Candidates must be currently employed in an oncology nursing role and have a minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
Members of the GVONS Board of Directors are ineligible for this award.

Candidates for the Annual “Nurse of Distinction" Award are nominated by a GVONS member with a supporting nomination by a workplace colleague of the nominee. Both nominators must complete separate forms and both forms must be submitted together.
