It's Fall, and time to hold our 2027 Dallas ONS Chapter Board of Directors election. This is a great opportunity for you to get more involved in your chapter!
The Dallas ONS Board consists of an exquisite team of nurses who collaborate in developing programs for the chapter with the needs of the general membership in mind, given the financial resources available that are consistent with the mission and strategic plans of ONS National and are always open to embrace new perspectives!
Being a member on the Dallas ONS Board of Directors offers many opportunities such as learning new skills, participating in unique opportunities exclusive to board members, and becoming part of a team of equally passionate nurses, to say the least!
To be a board member, you must be a current member of the Dallas chapter of ONS and attend most of the chapter meetings.
Each term is 2 years however some Board members stick around longer. It is not uncommon for a Board member to rerun for their current position or for a new position when their 2-year term has been completed.
Per National ONS guidelines, a member can serve on the Board up to 6 cumulative years, then they must take at least 1 year off. We have several Board members who complete their 6 years, take a year off, and then come right back to run again to hold a position on the Board!
We hope you will consider joining the Dallas Chapter ONS Board and look forward to working with you!
Accepting applications through Tuesday, October 6, 2026
