The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is excited to announce their annual Texas Blood Cancer Conference which will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, at the Westin Galleria Dallas. This event is designed to host informative sessions on all blood cancers, providing patients, family members, and caregivers with essential knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. It promises to be a day filled with learning, empowerment, and connection, and we would LOVE to have your help to make it a success!
If you are available and willing to volunteer, please send an email to samantha.harris@lls.org with the following information:
1. Time you can attend - if you can join us for the whole conference that would be AMAZING. If you are only available for a few hours, please choose one of the following shifts:
· 7:30am-10:00am - Early Bird Shift
· 8:15am-12:30pm - Morning Shift (most help needed)
· 11:45am-2:45pm - Afternoon Shift
· 8:15am-2:45pm – Whole Conference
2. Any specific preference for volunteer roles and sessions you would like to attend. Attached is the conference agenda and a list of volunteer roles. Please let me know if you have a preference for what you would like to do or if there is a specific session you want to attend, so I can take that into consideration when assigning roles. If you have no preference, that is perfectly fine as well.
Your support would mean a lot and contributes significantly to the conference's success. We look forward to having you on board!
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Samantha Harris
