Chemo ID Bands

Someone recently suggested to me that we band our chemo patients for 48 hours post infusion to alert staff that body fluids may contain chemo by products.  Is anyone doing this?  My first thought is this will lead to additional band "noise" and is probably not sustainable.  Universal precautions and knowledge of patient treatment plan would lead to protective steps.  Thanks for your input.

We don't give out chemo patients any additional wrist bands to wear. We just make sure we have isolation carts for their rooms.

We use "Chemotherapy Precautions" signs and hang on the doors.
