Good evening. I am interviewing  for a newly created GU navigator position. The current program has both a breast and a colon/lung navigator. I would love to hear from anyone who has worked with this patient population. Thanks in advance!

    Hello Elizabeth,
I am the GU Navigator at the McGlinn Cancer Institute at the Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania. We started our GU Multidisciplinary Clinic about 2 years ago. I would be happy to speak with you, if you would like.

    Hi Tina,
I appreciate your reply. I would love to be able to talk with you about what a typical day looks like for you. As a new position for me and a newly created position for the hospital, I don't think anyone really knows what to expect. I meet with the urology team this week and would like to be able give them an idea of what I can do for their patients. I have 13 years of infusion experience with all types of cancers, so have a good idea of what general patient needs exist, but not sure if there should be something more specific to focus on for this population.

    Thanks again!
