Belisario A. Arango, MD, is an oncologist with Utah Hematology Oncology in Layton, Utah. Previously, Dr. Arango served as Medical Director of Hematology and Medical Oncology as well as Medical Director of the Coagulation and Thrombosis Clinic at War Memorial Hospital. He has authored or co-authored numerous journal articles and he is an active member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and American College of Physicians. In 2017, Dr. Arango was named to the advisory board of both the Cancer Moonshot Project and the Biden Cancer Initiative.
Dr. Arango received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Guadalajara, Mexico, before completing an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital at Wayne State University. He then served a hematology/oncology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
