"The New Frontier: Updates in Breast Cancer," on Friday, March 6, 2020 - topics will include: the History of Breast Cancer, Genetic Testing, Breast Reconstruction, Nursing Management along with a Breast Cancer Survivor.
"The 10th Annual Cowtown Oncology Nursing Symposium," on Saturday, March 7, 2020 - topics will include: Fertility, Nutrition, HPV, Head and Neck Cancer, GYN Cancer, Cannabis, Car T-Cell Therapy, and Spirituality.
"Ten Years of Oncology Nursing Greatness" Dinner Celebration at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens in the Grove on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 6:00 pm. Please email Sandi Barr at s.j.barr@tcu.edu once you are registered for the symposium if you plan to attend the celebration. There is no fee for this event for those attending the symposium, but you must register. If you wish to bring a guest or would like to attend only the Friday night dinner celebration, a fee of $25 will be charged. Please contact Sandi at 817-257-6731 to pay by credit card. No reservations will be accepted after February 28, 2020.
The planning committee invites you to submit an Abstract for Poster Presentation. Best practices, new approaches to patient teaching, coordination of patient care, process improvement projects, use of new patient care products or research findings and outcomes. Share your knowledge and experiences on Oncology, Radiation, Palliative Care and Hospice nursing trends. This year, prizes will be awarded for the following categories: Best Evidence-Based Practice Submission, Best Research Submission and the People’s Choice Award.
